Working with your Consultant

Whatever your reasons for moving jobs, it is vitally important that you work in partnership with your recruitment consultant at Lift and Escalator Job's to ensure the process moves as smoothly as possible from start to finish. Fully understanding your position dramatically increases the speed and success of finding you the perfect new role.

What is your salary requirement? We use this figure to give you a range of vacancies from your lowest accepted salary to your optimum. If you are not sure what you are worth, our consultants have intimate knowledge of current market rates and will be happy to chat this through with you.

Will you consider relocating or commuting slightly further afield? Again, where possible we will always try and get you your location of choice, but in these challenging times, you may consider working further away or even relocating.

Is your CV getting you interviews?– if you would like some assistance to overhaul your CV then arrange to meet with one of our consultants as this will significantly increase your chances of getting interviews.

Be prepared more than ever before. If you have a good recruitment adviser you should be fully briefed on the vacancy which means you should have a job description and have had several briefings with the agent ensure every eventuality is covered before the interview.
